The new restaurant «AZIA» opened in the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg. Asian cuisine includes three types - Eastern, Southeastern and South Asian - and presented with exquisite original dishes cooked over a fire and a couple in a wok and tandoori and more than 150 names of oriental spices.

Special dishes include crab cooked in a wok in a Singapore style with chili, chicken from the tandoor with carrots and ginger, steamed buns stuffed with lobster meat with five spices. Map menu is arranged not by geography, but by the presented methods of heat treatment products. Among the features of the restaurant - a wide range of traditional home-made bread from different countries in Asia, the original Indian pickles, fresh homemade wasabi. Bar menu features an impressive range of classic cocktails, reinterpreted in the spirit of contemporary Asian trends. A special section in the menu is occupied by tea cocktails, mixology designed restaurant.

Designed by Super Potato, Japanese architectural design company with 40-year history, the interior of the restaurant is intended to emphasize Asian traditions and geographical features of different regions. The work on the project of restaurant designers drew inspiration from ancient Japanese architecture and tea houses with their characteristic principles of naturalness and simplicity. The materials used in the interior - iron, wood Japanese Aralia, Japanese Aji granite, bricks, glass blocks - emphasize the beauty of the vast space of the restaurant.
